General purpose:
Bilgah Beach Hotel is seeking an organized, passionate individual to join our team. As part of this team, you will help in the weld & mechanical repairs of facilities in the Hotel.
Responsibilities:
• Works closely with Mechanical Supervisor to carry out weld & mechanical repairs of domestic hot/cold water system, HVAC systems, storm sewer system, fountain water systems and swimming pools, and etc.
• Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Required:
• Strong work ethic
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Team oriented attitude
• Hands-on attitude
• Proficiency with electric arc welding and overall mechanical craftsmanship
• Certificate/diploma and vocational training in welding.
• A minimum of two years' experience working as a welding / mechanical technician.
• Should have good knowledge and understanding of repair and maintenance of domestic hot/cold water systems, HVAC systems, storm sewerage systems, swimming pools and fountains.
• Knowledge in various trades would be an added advantage.
