About your job:

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Baku, Azerbaijan.
In this role, you will evaluate and perform comprehensive pricing analysis of online, interline and offline fare proposals from the Qatar Airways (QR) network and authorise competitive fares.  You will study and analyse individual markets and place QR in a very visible and viable position in the market.  You will also secure maximum market share of traffic on the QR network.

Specific accountabilities include:

• Evaluate new and existing route developments within the region
• Support Corporate planning business cases whereby a comprehensive evaluation will be required to assess if a potential new route gains support
• Establish appropriate fare strategy and ensure on time pricing and distribution on the market
• Develop and implement new improved methods for forecasting the previous/future month’s performance based on statistical models
• Bring key insights and recommendations for revenue improvement based on information about the review of a number of reports and databases
• Propose sell ups for the approved and existing fares in higher booking inventories aiming to generate more revenue on high-demand flights in close coordination with revenue management

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor’s degree or similar combined with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar analytical role.
You will have strong analytical and data skills, but to be successful in this role your interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly will be essential. Prior experience with a GDS system and market intelligence tools would be advantageous.

Excellent MS office skills including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Fluency in English and Azerbaijani is essential for this role. You must also have the right to live and work in Azerbaijan to be considered for this role.
