POSITION: EVENTS MANAGER
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and implement the project, plan, concept and scenario for events in order to achieve set goals.
- Prepare sponsorship strategy, implement sponsorship projects.
- Involve contractors or sponsors and monitor their work, assess and analyze the proposed concepts.
- Define quality criteria of the events and ensure their proper conduct.
- Inquire about customers’ wishes and preferences regarding events and summarize them.
- Lead and develop Events Department staff.
- Support Marketing and Purchasing departments’ staff to minimize costs of events organization.
- Identify all the equipment, venue, food products and other necessary recourses required for conduct of the event on time, make orders through appropriate departments and allocate them.
- Inform the management and appropriate departments about force-majeure during events, ensure taking proper measures to solve the issues.
- Attend meetings and events with potential customers, business representatives and partners as well as activities organized by commercial and public organizations, organize necessary events.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Advanced knowledge of project management.
- Advanced knowledge of market economy.
- Public speaking skills and ability to conduct presentation.
- Know customer relations rules.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor`s degree
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in hotel marketing sphere, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
