EXPECTED RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 Ensure the corporate revenue budget is achieved and surpassed. 
 To explore economic data, new developments in certain companies’ structures, new assignments, industrial complexes, new business centres, new projects which all could be interest and benefit of the hotel. 
 With the assistance of DOSM, develop and implement tactical sales methods & approaches to maintaining customer contact at a variety of levels within active and new companies within the corporate segment. 
 To participate preparing the sales action plans, attending sales meetings, developing new ideas such as special packages, programs, promotional activities undertaken by sales department and/or F&B. 
 Take part in sales training programs, sales blitzes and fam trips. 
 Make sure that RFP process is smoothly handled. 
 To maintain and develop strong relationships with customers to gain their full trust and their priority in cooperation. 

EXPECTED TASKS:
 
 To quote international corporate rates offered for multinational companies by filling out RFP’s. 
 Handling and responding to clients requests in a timely manner. 
 To solicit existing and potential customers and follow up established accounts on regular basis by phone, by correspondence or by personal contact. 
 To set up appointments and make personal sales calls, telemarketing and site inspections to all existing and potential accounts from corporate commercial accounts. 
 To negotiate with all customers and send out offers / contracts regarding individual business. 
 When necessary, to handle the group and individual reservation requests personally. 
 Provide an average of maximum 24 hours response time to all companies / accounts requests for business leads and to ensure proper and presentable communication. 
 To update customers with the latest developments in the hotel and inform hotel management of all changes in the customer profile. 
 To keep himself/herself updated with the latest developments in the hotel including all activities, promotions, rates of the Holiday Inn Baku and the other hotels. 
 To follow the sales and marketing results and propose corrective actions if needed. 
 To maintain the existence of an efficient customer database system (OPERA) which will be capable of identifying to report sales calls and other sales activities and to carry out updating exercise in certain periods of time. 
 On weekly basis, to prepare an activity report which will cover sales call reports, site inspections, fam trips, new companies, meetings, entertainment and other functions she/he participated in during the week and presents to Director or Sales & Marketing. 
 To follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superior. 
 Make minimum 20 sales call per week. 
 To entertain decision makers of the companies in the F&B outlets of the hotel and to take part in promotional activities with them. 
 Be proactive and keep close follow up on developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.) Also to explore and compare corporate traffic amongst the competitors. 
 Prepare monthly production report of companies (room night, revenue) statistics to top 100 corporate accounts in comparison with last year’s figures during the same period. 
 To assist DOSM for preparing the annual and quarterly sales (and marketing) actions plans.
