“Baku Boulevard Hotel” is looking for Chief Accountant.

Job Brief

Chief Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Chief Accountant will be reported directly to Finance Director.

Key Functions

Responsible for preparation of all tax and statutory reports
Preparation of the monthly statutory accounts and financial statements under USALI
Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets
Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Assist with annual budgets – prepares all allocations
Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information
Assures compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
Review and comment both purchasing and sales agreements 
Review payroll calculation, SPF and tax reports
Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits
Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position
Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved

Requirements

Higher economic education - essential.
Professional experience of at least 3-5 years as chief accountant and his deputy.
Possession of modern information technology.
Ability to work with the basic MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Internet), use e-mail, legal systems.
Possession of specialized accounting software (ERP systems).
Excellent knowledge of accounting and taxation.
Good knowledge in legal matters.
Skills tax planning and optimization of workflow.
Experience of implementing and debugging accounting systems.
Ability to make corporate reporting under USALI.
Leadership - the willingness to make decisions and take responsibility.
Good knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
High communication skills.
Knowledge of OPERA, Micros billing systems is advantage.
